Working with canvas can be a really intimidating feat, but this website has managed to present its products as approachable, easy to take on pieces. But for the most part, Eas圜 made some excellent UI choices. Personally, there were a few areas in which I found myself wishing for some more advanced editing options. Easy Canvas Prints’ discounted prices make it one of the most affordable canvas options around. I did that the same day and they never responded. I told the driver to take back the mulch and cancel my order.PS: got a reply back from the owner the same day I posted my negative review asking to reach out to him and or the GM by email. I lost Thursday and now I have lost part of Friday waiting for them to deliver. Sorry, but I have to put the compost down before I can put the mulch down. At 8:30 Am the truck shows up with the Mulch only, no compost. Living Earth is the largest manufacturer and provider of mulch, compost and other landscaping materials in Texas, as well as Texas largest. called in the afternoon and he said he could not make but would deliver it first thing Friday morning for 7 AM. Spoke with the office who contacted the manager and he said they would get it out in the afternoon. Called Thursday and they said that they had no order for me. Called Monday morning as it was supposed to rain that afternoon and changed the delivery day to the morning of Thursday, March 18th. Ordered 15 cubic yards of Mulch and 5 cubic yards of Compost to be delivered on the afternoon of Monday, March 15th. If I could give it less than one star I would. Maybe those who formulate the soils and run the website know what theyre doing, but it seem like the folks they have running the shop do not.I emailed Scott and Brent (see below), but have not heard back from them. I loaded up, got all the stuff home, unloaded it, and then found on their website that they do NOT recommend planting directly into their organic compost. I dont mind loading, but its always a bummer to waste time needlessly waiting for someone else. While there in the back, I noticed a whole pallet of rose soil in bags! Then the loading guy came to me, pointed to the organic compost, and told me to load it myself. I drove to the back, saw the bags of organic compost which I could easily have loaded myself, but waited for the guy to finish with two other customers first, because thats what they had asked me to do. Then they told me to take my ticket to the back and someone would help me load. I asked if it would work to fill a raised bed with the organic compost and plant directly into it. They suggested using organic compost as an alternative. 30 min later I showed up, and they said they had no rose soil. I called to ask if they have carry rose soil in bags, and they said yes. So removing an object from a scene is more about digital manipulation, whilst adjusting the sharpness or saturation of an image, whilst still altering it, is not the same as fundamentally changing it. Photo editing on the other hand, is more about tweaking an image without significantly altering its main components. It’s great for adding and removing elements, and effectively changing the look of the image. Photoshop, as is further explained in the post, is a very powerful tool for manipulating digital image files. There is a fairly key difference between editing a photo, and Photoshopping a photo. When people ask me if photo editing is cheating, it’s often because they are conflating photo editing with what has become known as “Photoshopping”, named for the Adobe product called Photoshop. Basically, the computer inside the camera is acting as a mini photo editor that you have no control over.Īs a photographer, you want to have control over as much of your image creation process as possible, from composing the shot to setting up your camera correctly to editing the image.ĭifference Between Photo Editing and “Photoshopping” If you do not shoot in RAW, all that happens is that the camera applies a variety of software algorithms to your image data to produce a usable file, usually in JPEG format. I am sometimes asked if editing photos is not cheating in some way. However, it is often still worth editing a JPEG file, even if just to crop and straighten it, and tweak the colors a bit. If you shoot in JPEG, you can still edit your photos using the tools in this post, although the amount of change you can make to the image will be reduced. This is what photo editing software is for. This will have no sharpening, saturation or other tweaks applied, and the image will nearly always look flat and dull.Ī RAW file is basically the equivalent of a roll of film – it needs “developing” in order to turn it into a usable image. When a camera takes a picture in RAW, it saves the unedited image data to the camera’s memory card. You can read all about what RAW is and why you should shoot in RAW here. This is particularly the case if you are shooting in RAW. To make our images as good as they possibly can be, it’s essential to edit them.
